1. Alabama 14-0

They should be preseason No. 1.

2. Florida 13-1

I don’t know what to make to the Gators these days, is Meyer really leaving?

3. Texas 13-1

Tough loss for the Horns without McCoy.

4.  Boise State 14-0

They return almost everybody for another BCS Title run.

5. Ohio State 11-2

They looked good in their Rose Bowl win.

6.  Iowa 11-2

The Big Ten went 4-3 in Bowls this season with the Hawkeyes win in the Orange Bowl.

7. TCU 12-1

They looked very out of sync against Boise.

8.  Cincinnati 12-1

Can we say exposed?

9.  Penn State 11-2

PSU got a good win over a SEC team in sloppy conditions.

10.  BYU 11-2

The Cougars finished strong by crushing Oregon State.

11. Virginia Tech 10-3

The Hokies rocked Tennessee in the Peach Bowl. 

12a. Oregon 10-3

The Ducks bring a ton of talent back next year and will be a force in the PAC 10.

12b. Georgia Tech 11-3

The Jackets couldn't get it going against Iowa’s D.

13. Nebraska 10-4

They showed they had some offense along with that stellar defense.

14. Pittsburgh 10-3

They just slipped by a UNC team that was a six point underdog. 

15. Wisconsin 10-3

This team will be tough to beat next year.

16. Utah 10-3

The Utes pulled the upset and rolled California.

17. LSU 9-4

The Tigers couldn’t catch anything against Penn State.

18.  Miami 9-4

Wisconsin showed them what a power running game is.

19. USC 9-4

USC is a mess right now both off and on the field.

20.  Mississippi 9-4

Jevan Sneed and Dexter McCluster ride off to the NFL with another Cotton Bowl victory.

21.   Texas Tech 9-4

Here’s another team where the offseason can’t come soon enough.

22.   Navy 10-4

The Middies steamrolled 35-13 over Mizzou in the Texas Bowl.

23.  West Virginia 9-4

They jumped out to a decent lead but couldn’t hold it in the end.

24.   Central Michigan 12-2

The MAC broke its bowl-losing streak as the Chippewa’s beat Troy 44-41 in overtime.

25. Oklahoma State 9-4

They couldn’t hold off Ole Miss in the second half.
