They should be preseason No. 1.

3. Texas 13-1
Tough loss for the Horns without McCoy.
4. Boise State 14-0
They return almost everybody for another BCS Title run.
5. Ohio State 11-2
They looked good in their Rose Bowl win.
6. Iowa 11-2
The Big Ten went 4-3 in Bowls this season with the Hawkeyes win in the Orange Bowl.
7. TCU 12-1
They looked very out of sync against Boise.
8. Cincinnati 12-1
Can we say exposed?
9. Penn State 11-2
PSU got a good win over a SEC team in sloppy conditions.
10. BYU 11-2
The Cougars finished strong by crushing Oregon State.
11. Virginia Tech 10-3
The Hokies rocked Tennessee in the Peach Bowl.

The Ducks bring a ton of talent back next year and will be a force in the PAC 10.

The Jackets couldn't get it going against Iowa’s D.

They showed they had some offense along with that stellar defense.

The Tigers couldn’t catch anything against Penn State.

Wisconsin showed them what a power running game is.

USC is a mess right now both off and on the field.

Jevan Sneed and Dexter McCluster ride off to the NFL with another Cotton Bowl victory.

The Middies steamrolled 35-13 over Mizzou in the Texas Bowl.

They jumped out to a decent lead but couldn’t hold it in the end.

The MAC broke its bowl-losing streak as the Chippewa’s beat Troy 44-41 in overtime.
25. Oklahoma State 9-4
They couldn’t hold off Ole Miss in the second half.
