This was part of a two interview show. This was the second interview, which began at 18:15.

We first spoke with Texas Tech quarterback Steven Sheffield , before speaking with former Texas Tech soccer player Lauren (Taylor) Martinez.

[When asked how she felt about the Mike Leach situation.]

She feels it was inappropriate, but the situation is worse because of the student he picked on. She feels that if it was a different player there would have been a different result for Mike Leach.

[When asked about how the town of Lubbock is reacting to the Mike Leach situation.]

Everyone in town is wound up in the school, so the town is buzzing about this. Lots to gossip about!

[Asked about New Mexico player Elizabeth Lambert's dirty play.]
She said she was disappointed in the refs, the coaches, and the teammates. If it was her teammate doing that, she would have given her an earful. She also complimented the BYU players for having enough integrity to not retaliate...because she would have!
[When asked about how the team she played on compared to this year's team.]
She talked about the high of beating Texas and Texas A&M the same year, but that they dropped a few games to "no-name" teams. She was impressed by the improvement of Kansas' and Texas Tech's women's soccer over the years.
