Who is bowling hard, and whose hardly bowling?

This is basically just a quick look at the Bowl match ups this season to see which conferences are earning their bowl records, and which are basically just favored because of tie ins. Let's start with the SEC and work are way down.

The SEC

1. Bama vs Number 1 Big 12 Texas - fair
2. Florida vs Number 1 Big East - unfair
3. LSU vs Number 3 Big Ten PSU - fair
4. Ole Miss vs number 2 big 12 OSU - unfair
5. Georgia vs number 8 big 12 Texas A&M - unfair against Big 12
6. Tennessee vs number 2 ACC Vtech - severly unfair
7. Arkansas vs number 1 ECU - fair becuase non BCS
8.  Auburn vs number 4 Northeastern - unfair
9. South Carolina vs number 5 Big East - about right considering the Big East size
10. Kentucky vs number 4 Clemson - severly unfair

Seems the SEC faces basically the best of the other conferences
playing 3 conference champs
playing 3 teams tied or alone in 2nd place(PSU, OSU, Vtech)
has one game where the SEC team is ranked higher in the SEC then the other team is ranked in their respective conference
so SEC has an advantage in 1, and tied in 1....rest screw the SEC
does any other conference have this kind of schedule in the bowls?

Let us see the ACC
1. Georgia Tech vs Iowa big ten number 2 - unfair
2. Vtech vs UT SEC number 6 - unfair
3. Miami vs Big Ten number 4 Wisconsin - unfair
4. Clemson vs Kentucky SEC number 10 - extremely unfair
5. Boston College vs Pac 10 number 5 USC - even
6. North Carolina vs Pitt big east number 2 - ACC is unfaired here
7. FSU vs West Virginia number 3 - acc unfaired

So the ACC has the advantage in 4 match ups, unfair in 2, and even in one
They play 0 Conference champs

Big Ten
1. Ohio State vs Oregon number 1 - fair
2. Iowa vs Georgia Tech ACC number 1 - unfair
3. PSU vs LSU SEC number 3 - fair
4. Wiscy vs Miami ACC number 3 - unfair
5. Northeastern vs Auburn number 8 SEC - advantage Big Ten
6. MSU vs Texas Tech number 4 Big 12 - unfair
8. Minnesota vs Iowa State number 8 big 12 - fair

Big Ten also takes a pretty rough schedule in bowls
3 even, 3 going against them, 1 in their favor
plays 2 Conference champs(BCS conferences) which ties the SEC

Big 12
1. Texas vs Alabama number 1 SEC - fair
2. Oklahoma State  vs Ole Miss SEC number 4 - advantage big 12
3. Nebraska vs number 2 pac-10 Arizona - unfair
4. Texas Tech  vs Michigan State number 6 Big ten - advantage big 12
5. Missouri vs Navy - non BCS so even
6. Oklahoma vs Pac-10 number 3 Stanford - unfair
7. Texas A&M  vs SEC number 5 Georgia - unfair
8. Iowa State vs Minnesota Big ten number 8 - fair
Big 12 has
2 advantages, 3 ties, and 3 ones where they are disadvantaged
They play 1 Conference Champ
Big East
1. Cincy vs number 2 SEC Florida - a BE
2 Pitt vs number 6 ACC NC - big advantage Big East
3. WVU vs FSU number 7 - big advantage BE
4. Rutgers vs UCF - top 4 team playing a non bcs is pathetic...especially a cusa non bcs
5. Uconn vs SEC number 9 USCe - about fair considering size
6. USF vs Northern Illinois - non bcs

4 advantages, 2 evens...sad Big
East...sad
they play 0 BCS conference champs

Pac- 10
1. Oregon vs Ohio State big ten number 1 - even
2. Arizona vs number 3 Big 12 Nebraska - advantage pac-10
3. Stanford vs number 6 Big 12 OU - advantage pac-10
4. Oregon State vs BYU - I consider the top 4 in the MWC a BCS like team almost - even
5. USC vs ACC number 5 Boston College - fair
6. California vs number 3 MWC Utah - unfair but still non BCS so almost fair
8. UCLA vs Temple - even cause UCLA is so low

So the Pac - 10 gets advantage in 2, is about equal in 4, and screwed in 2
They play 1 Conference Champ

So according to this the hardest bowl schedules go
unfair/even/ has advantage
1. SEC = 8 - 1 -1
2. Big Ten = 3-3-1
3. Big 12 = 3- 3 -2 but with a severe unfair
4. Pac 10 = 2-4-2
5. ACC = 2 - 1 - 4
6. Big East - 0 - 2 - 4

You could argue a couple I guess but this clearly shows which conferences are truely playing tough games and which aren't and it's almost impossible to argue, though I know some of you will try.

This coupled with the fact that the SEC has the best bowl record in the BCS era, the most BCS bowl wins, an undefeated record in the national title game clearly shows who the best conference is in the BCS era. Any argument is almost laughable.
