Michael Vick amassed just 61 total yards in three quarters of action against the Jets. It’s not easy evading linebackers when you have an electronic bracelet on your ankle.

When I first heard that Michael Vick was coming back to the NFL I thought, “Everyone deserves a second chance.” Then I heard rumors the Eagles were going to pick him up. My reaction was, “Say it isn’t so!” When Andy Reid announced Vick was joining the team, I got mad! “Why did it have to be my team, we don’t need the controversy.”

Now that the season is almost over, I think I realize the Eagles wanted him in Philadelphia: To motivate Donovan McNabb. Donovan realizes he has a competent guy like Vick waiting for a chance to get back in the game and it’s made him play much better this season. Not only that, but Michael has been picking a few rushing yards on key plays for the Eagles.

Maybe it’s not such a bad thing that my team has given Michael Vick a second chance?
