Carter's NCAA Basketball Top 25 Rankings: December 27

David CarterCorrespondent IDecember 28, 2009

With great young stars like Patrick Patterson, John Wall, and DeMarcus Cousins on their college basketball team, it’s hard to argue that the Kentucky Wildcats should be in the top spot in anybody’s poll. They are currently the only 13-0 team and have beaten opponents by a combined 17.4 points per game. You could add teams like Kansas, Texas, and Syracuse into the National number one mix right now, but I think the top spot should go to the Wildcats because coach John Calipari has done a great job at putting this team together, they’ve started the year off very strong, and they’ve already beaten great teams like North Carolina and Connecticut. With that said, here’s how I see the NCAA’s top 25 teams.
