The Albert Haynesworth Effect | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Sean E. DouglasDec 26, 2009

On Christmas, the Redskins sent defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth home early from practice. At the time, it wasn't clear why the team would send their 100 million dollar man home early but today more light has shined down on this situation.

Apparently, Haynesworth was attempting to encourage fellow teammates to show up late to practice on Christmas. This was because the coaches were making the team come in early for practice and Haynesworth didn't agree with that.

While turmoil continues in Washington, fantasy owners can take advantage of this teams poor situation and Haynesworth's current problems.

If this big defensive tackle is out for any length of time than expect the Cowboys to roll up the fantasy numbers.

Fantasy Football Effect

It isn't known how much Haynesworth will play this Sunday night because of this problem, but if he misses time, Marion Barber and the Cowboys' offense will be better fantasy football plays.

Make sure you have Barber in your fantasy lineup as he had a good night last week and should produce again this week.

Look for the Cowboys' defense to post a strong game as this team is desperate to make the playoffs.
