Kansas began the season as the near unanimous top ranked team in the Bleacher Report Top 25. As the season has worn on, the Jayhawks, victims of their own schedule, haven't shown they are worthy of that top spot in the eyes of several voters.

Before the season started, the Jayhawks' schedule looked like one of the tougher slates in the country. Games against California, UCLA, and Michigan could have been three quality wins. Now, only the victory against the Golden Bears shows like it could have any weight come March.

Kansas still has tough games against Tennessee and Temple left, which could give Bill Self's team a chance to prove itself before conference play begins.

For now, Texas, Kentucky, and Syracuse will continue to eat into Rock Chalk's votes. The Longhorns finally played a tough game and came out with a dominating win against North Carolina.

Kentucky and Syracuse have two of the best resumes in the country as both have knocked off North Carolina while each has won against a team in each other's conference, Kentucky against Connecticut and Syracuse over Florida.
