First off, I play the UFC fantasy game every event and the closest I finished was 123rd so don't take these predictions to mean anything really. I am just giving my opinion on what could happen.
Rob Yundt versus Rob Kimmons:
Rob Yundt, by TKO. I really don't know much about either fighter, but I see this one going Yundt's way
Tim Creduer versus Cale Yarbrough:
I am taking Tim on this one. After Tim's impressive showing against CB Dollarway and Cale's abysmal showing. Tim takes this by submission.
Jeremy Horn versus Dean Lister:
Even though Jeremy Horn isn't the fighter he once was...due to his focus on training...I will have to take him as the winner on this one also by submission. I just haven't seen enough of Lister to see if he has what it takes.

Matt Brown versus Matt Arroyo:
I have to go with Matt Brown by knockout because of his power...he TKO'd Arroyo at their last meeting this time he will knock him out.
Marvin Eastman versus Drew McFedries:
Marvin Eastman by Unanimous decision. Eastman has fought many tough opponents and fought well. Drew has disappointed me in his last few showings.
Josh Burkman versus Dustin Hazelett:
I am going to pick Hazelett by submission. I personally think Burkman is very overrated, and Hazelett will show that.
Matt Riddle versus Dante Rivera:
I am going to have to go with Dante Rivera by decision. Riddle is very inexperienced and unless he scores a knockout I think experience will hurt him.
Spencer Fisher versus Jeremy Stephens:
Spencer Fisher by decision...I think this will be a close fight, but Spencer Fisher definitely has been more impressive to watch.
Diego Sanchez versus Luigi Fioravanti:
Luigi pulls off the upset and beats Diego by TKO.
Amir Sadollah versus CB Dollarway:
Dollarway by decision. I don't think Amir will catch him this time like he did last fight which leaves it on the ground with no submission.
Evan Tanner versus Kendall Grove:
Kendall Grove by decision...I don't think he can submit Tanner, but Tanner is not the fighter he once was and has shown it in his last few showings on UFC. If it were five years ago it would be a different story.

Very interesting. I disagree on some of the winners you picked. I hope that Evan Tanner finds his way through Kendal Groves jungle gym arms and legs and beats out a victory. Amir is my pick to win by submission, of course. My grandson Cody wants Diego to win; I'll go with him for peace in the family. Spencer Fisher by tko. Matt Brown, Drew Fickett, and Josh Burkman (who looks like my youngest son) are my other choices to pull off wins.

I like Evan Tanner, but he has been very unimpressive lately though. I would like to see him win, but I just really don't think he has it in him anymore. Mentally he just isn't the same for some reason. I was really impressed by Luigi's last fight. That's why I picked him to win. And Josh Burkman, even though he looks like your son, I don't think is fighting at his peak like he did when he first appeared on the UFC. He seemed hungrier and more like a great fighter than he does now...I think the same about Diego.

Lister is super slick on the ground and actually was an asst. coach on season 3 with Tito. I actually think Lister is better on the ground than Horn. He won ADCC in 2003. It should be noted that Horn beat lister by decision in Dec. of 2003. If you can check out some of Lister's grappling matches (ADCC) i would.

To say that anyone is better on the ground than Jeremy Horn is a gamble. I hope the right Horn shows up, I like both fighters, but I have been following Horn for longer. I have seen Lister fight before, but never against fighters the quality of Horn. That's what I meant by that.

Lister has never been subbed in his MMA career, Including matches against Horn, Arona and Marquardt (Who Choked out Horn). So saying that Horn is going to Sub Lister is also a gamble ;)

That was just how I saw the fight going...I am wrong...a lot, and it wouldn't really shock me if Lister won this fight, but I still am giving this one to Horn.

yeah man you have some interesting picks. one reason you are wrong so much is you are basing these results off of the fighters last performance. kongo's last fight was unimpressive, but he is going to murder his next opponent. not always best to go off the previous fight to choose the winner. i do hope diego gets ko'd.

Well it's hard for me to see a fighter coming off a bad performance to make a dominant one. I lose a lot of confidence in a fighter when they come out like that.

First let me preface with Jason I respect your opinion and I'm not attacking you. Jason did you think that GSP was going to to fold against Matt Hughes because of his performance against Serra? If I was a casual fan and had never seen a fight and Serra-GSP was my first I would have thought Serra dominated GSP.
Fighters that are elite and fight elite competition will lose. That is the beauty of this sport, when you get two elite fighters anybody can win. So you only cheer for the champs? To me it's kind of like being a fair-weather fan, I only like the Twins when they win (which isn't often).

It's not like that. If it was a close fight that ended in a knockout, or if someone pulled off a quick submission/knockout, I wouldn't hold that against anyone, but if they get dominated by someone that they should at least hold their own with, then I would come out and say it. Just because I don't think someone will win doesn't mean I am not a fan. I personally have watched Matt Hughes get dominated by GSP and Alves...Matt Serra has knocked out GSP, but I think Matt Hughes would mop the floor with Serra. These predictions that I made were not a favoritism based picking it is just kinda how I saw this going. Now if it were Josh Koscheck fighting I would be biased, because I am not impressed with him and I would pick him to lose and come straight out and say it's because I can't stand him.

Personally, I firmly believe that Matt Serra will beat Hughes, and Kos will win his next fight. (Although like you, I am occasionally wrong.)

I guess that's why I don't do this for a living.
