Tiger Woods Puts Egg on Golf Digest Cover

Official word from Gold Digest is that they wish they had a mulligan on this one.

There is the January 2010 Golf Digest cover story: 10 Tips Obama can take from Tiger.

"Would we like a mulligan on the timing? Yeah, like any other month since the election except this one," is the response from Jerry Tarde, Gold Digest Editor-in-Chief.

Magazines work well in advance. This one was put together and done by November 14, just ahead of the breaking of the Woods stories.

The cover story is actually:

"What President OBAMA could learn from TIGER Woods -- and vice versa"

In the past, Obama, like the rest of us, said he'd like to tee it up with Tiger sometime.

Talk about how fast things can change!

The story lists 10 things Obama could take from Tiger and it is the 10th item that really stands out:
