Coming off one of the best seasons the University of Kansas has ever had, the Jayhawks begin to reload with the number two recruiting class for 2008. With six seniors leaving and some players expected to declare for the draft, Bill Self knew he was going to have to do a lot of recruiting.
Kansas' entire starting line-up will be replaced for the '08-09 season, but two of those replacements will be McDonald's All-Americans Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich. The rest of the team will be mainly freshmen.
Kansas will also have another tough conference schedule, facing opponents like Texas, who lost D.J. Augustin but will be returning players such as Damion James and A.J. Abrams. KU will also be challenged by Oklahoma, who return talented forward Blake Griffin and will have incoming freshman sensation Willie Warren.

How's the non-conference slate looking? I've been hearing quite a few rumors of a visit to the Breslin Center...that would be a great game.

I havn't heard yet about who they will play in the non-conference, but ya i saw Michigan State has a lot of good incoming freshmen so that would be one good game...

Now that i think of it Tyshawn Taylor might start at the shooting guard over tyrel reed but that position is up for grabs by either of them.

idk if the jayhawks will do as good this years as they did last year cuz i mean u cant win them all but idk if were going to have the ppl this year like we did last year

Ya we won't be anywhere close to how good we were this year, i mean we will still be good, i bet we will be ranked in the top 20 the whole season, but we will really have to get hot at the end of the season to do what we did this year...

I agree with most of it but do not understand how you left out Travis Releford, he looks solid and i was impressed with him at late night.
I think this will be the starting line-up
PG - Sheron Collins *
SG - Tysahwn Taylor
SF - Mario Little
PF - Marcus Morris
C - Cole Aldrich*
*Almost Definate Locks
Minutes off Bench (In order of play-At least until solid rotation is found) - Markief Morris, Travis Releford, Tyrell Reid, Brady Morningstar, Quintrell Thomas, and Tyrone Appleton
Connor Teahan (Will get some playtime if we need three pointers)
Others will play acordingly -Brenan Brechard(senior), Matt Kleinman, Chase Buford

I would agree that Kansas will go through some changes, but they are at the level of "re-loading", not "re-building".
The Big 12 will be very competitive at the top and Kansas might take while to find it's game.
Good info and article.
