Eduardo. Dive. Universal Condemnation. Rooney. Dive. Hypocrisy.

Remember that Eduardo dive against Celtic earlier this year?
Despite the fact that nowadays diving happens all the time in the game and that the match was virtually over anyway when Eduardo dived, the incident was THE topic in the British football media for about two weeks.
Seemingly anyone and everyone had their go at criticising Eduardo, and the media effectively singled him out and vilified him. One journalist raged that it was “one of the more shocking pieces of deceit even at a time when such behaviour has become almost standard."
Yesterday Wayne Rooney dived against Aston Villa to win a penalty in exactly the same manner as Eduardo did....

....and yet it's hardly been mentioned in the media at all.
In the few places I've seen it mentioned, the descriptions of the blatant dive are laced with euphemisms like "theatrics" and "simulation." No cries of cheat. No labelling of 'diver'.
Where are all of those righteous "journalists" now?
Nothing to do with the fact that Rooney is the English darling eh?
What is the duplicate article?
Why is this article offensive?
Where is this article plagiarized from?
Why is this article poorly edited?
