Well, it has been revealed that Alabama and Texas will be playing each other in the BCS title game. TCU and Boise State will be playing each other in the Fiesta Bowl.

Texas definitely got lucky last night against Nebraska. They were really lucky that Nebraska has a terrible offense because Colt McCoy looked awful when he played a team with good defense, unlike most of Texas' other opponents this season.

He was sacked eight times and he threw no touchdowns and three interceptions when he was finally tested.

The Big 12 is not a conference that plays defense well. Texas has good defense, but not as good as TCU. They have played great offense against teams with terrible defense most of the time (Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Texas Tech, Colorado, Baylor), plus they nearly lost to Texas A&M.

TCU, however, has beaten strong teams like Clemson, Utah, and BYU. Teams like those are commonly counted out, but Utah beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl and arguably should have played Florida instead of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma was exposed last year in the BCS title game, just like Texas will be in this one.

TCU has a better defense than Texas. They have allowed 12 points a game vs. Texas allowing 15 a game.

TCU is fourth in pass defense and second in rush defense. Texas' top ranking in rush defense is a mirage because many Big 12 teams are pass-happy colleges. They are 40th in pass defense.

Defensive end Jerry Hughes of TCU, is a 2008 and most likely 2009 All-American. Texas' offensive line couldn't handle Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and they wouldn't be able to handle Hughes, either.

Texas may have one of the best offenses, but Boise State has the top-ranked offense in the nation. QB Kellen Moore hardly ever gets Heisman consideration even though he has 39 TDs and only three interceptions.

Boise State beat Oregon too and they are a BCS team, the Pac-10 champions, and are playing in the Rose Bowl, so Boise State is definitely for real.

Tim Tebow and McCoy get so many headlines despite putting up unimpressive numbers and being undefeated because they have a great team around them and they do not they deserve all the credit like they get.

Boise State is 22nd in pass defense and 48th in rush defense. The rush defense is shaky, but Texas doesn't have a great running back.

Kellen Moore is better than Colt McCoy. Jerry Hughes is better than Sergio Kindle. TCU and Boise State would definitely beat Texas if they just got a chance to play them. TCU should be No. 2 and Boise State should be No. 3.

Texas is a good team and certainly better than Oklahoma was last year, but they are not worthy of competing for a national title. Alabama will kill Texas. The BCS title game will not be a close game.
