Well this is what I hoped would not happen. The Bobcats went on the road to play a team that had not won a game all season and what happens? This was an opportunity to get a road win and then come home and play the Sixers on Saturday at home to start  another winning streak.

I am still puzzled as to how the Bobcats let the Nets go on a 9-0 run late in game like that. There is something else that puzzles me about this game. Why did Larry Brown only have 8 people play in this game? I am not sure what the reasoning for only playing 8.

Another observation. Gerald Wallace is your 1a scoring option on this team so how can he only get 8 shoots. He was 5 of 8 with 13 points and 20 rebounds. Gerald is hard to guard off the dribble and he is usually able to get to the rim. Stephen Jackson had 23 shots. He and Gerald need to be around 18 shots a piece.

Charlotte had built up a lot of goodwill with the 4 game winning streak and this loss can set things back. A lot of the media have been making jokes about if you want to break a lossing streak just schedule the Bobcats for your home game. But until the Bobcats can beat the teams that they should the respect is not going to come.

Either Larry Brown is who we think he is or he may be past his prime. We will see if he can get this team to play the right way on a consistent basis.
