It was fourth and four ,against once more Matt Leinhart, on the Titans own seven yard line and there seemed to be little hope in the ballgame with 1:56 left. Everyone held their breath as “VY” broke the huddle hoping that he ,like many times before, could pull a off a 4TH quarter come back victory. Young has looked really poised in the pocket throughout the Titans five game winning stretch and this game was no different especially in the last drive. He dropped back looked to his left and threw a laser to rookie receiver Kenny Britt. The result: 1ST down Titans on their own eighteen yard line. After this point I knew that they would win. I felt that this play gave the Titans enough confidence to finish the drive with a TD. This drive really showed off the Titans future in Jared cook ,Lavelle Hawkins ,and Kenny Britt as they played a key role in the proclaimed “Music City March”. It was really fun to watch as Vince Young once again showed off his come back skills. Pass after pass the Titans slowly marched down field until finally with 0.06 seconds left it was fourth and goal at the Cardinals ten yard line. Once more the fans held their breath as “VY” broke the huddle and tried to once again beat Matt Leinhart as he did in that amazing 2006 Rose Bowl game when Vince Young ran in the game winning touchdown. When a timeout was taken by Arizona after Tennessee had used it’s last timeout Offensive cordinator Mike Heimerdinger had a chance to regroup with his young quarterback. They decided that the previous play they called wasn’t going to work so they switch to a play Mike Heimerdinger called “double option X and Z post”. Young lined up in shot gun and motioned a wide out to his left. He took the snap stepped up and threw across his body for the game winning touchdown to Kenny Britt. The stadium went crazy in celebrating the win. After the game Vince Young was quoted saying “it was hard I mean it takes a lot of patients”. It was a really fun game.
