Who Shines Brighter; Dallas Or New York Jets

The objective of this project was to compare the Dallas Cowboys with the New York Jets, using data from an internet website. After close study of several graphs and a chart, we concluded that overall, the Dallas Cowboys have performed better than the New York Jets during their 50 year history.

Graph #1

This graph shows the number of wins, loss, and tie for both Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets.

It compares both teams and it shows that Dallas has won more games than NYJ, loss less than NYJ and tie less than NYJ.

Both teams have won more than 333 games and not loss more than 405 games.

Also both teams tie game only differs by 2 games.

The graph also tells that both teams have played and average of 150 games.

This graph is a W-L (win – loss) percentage representation.

Dallaspercentage of won games is 0.578, and NYJ is 0.454.

Dallas has won more than half of the games played.

NYJ won less than half of the games played.

Both teams average between 0.4-0.6 percent of won games.

This graph shows the number of major games won for both teams.

Both teams have won more Playoffs than the other games.

The number of games Dallas won on the playoffs is more than double of NYJ won games.

On the championships, Conference, and Superbowl, NYJ won only 1 game on each while Dallas average won games ranges from 8-5 wins.

Statistically, the graph predicts that Dallas will have a higher chance of winning on the next major games than NYJ does.

By analyzing this chart is easier to make any type of calculations.

The chart helps predict better that Dallas have more chances of winning on any next game.

The graph shows also that both teams are good teams, but Dallas has the lead.
