Who is the most dangerous man in the NBA?There are several times a year that any given team will have, where they will have an extremely difficult match-up. There are the typical players that can give you that kind of trouble such as Dwight Howard,Dwayne Wade,Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Carmelo Anthony. Any one of these guys will have a team preparing to play them up until the tip-off.Then there are the less suspecting guys who will give your team a hard time on a given night such as Gerald Wallace, Josh Howard, J.R. Smith, Aaron Brooks, or Ty Lawson.

Dwight Howard is one of the most dominant centers in the NBA and commands double teams often and when played one on one will either overpower the man guarding him or get fouled which makes him reminiscent of a younger Shaq. However he often struggles against long athletic big men like he did in the Finals against Gasol.

Dwayne Wade is a force to be reckoned with and is one of the most unstoppable forces because of his ability to light up the scoreboard. He has the ability to get in the lane and finish strong despite only being 6"4 and is a dangerously streaky shooter. Dwayne Wade can put up 40 points easily on any given night. Wade would be the perfect player except that his shooting can go ice cold at any time, and he is very prone to turnovers.

LeBron James is one of the the most dominant forces that the NBA has ever seen. He commands double teams and has an unstoppable drive to the basket. His combination of size, speed and strength make other teams draw up defensive schemes to try and keep him out of the lane. He can also pull up and hit shots when he is forced to. Over the past season he has also learned how to use his length to become an elite defender. The thing that often haunts him is his lack of basketball IQ. In clutch  situations he tends to make bad choices and has bad shot selections.LeBron has problems against an active energetic defender such as Mickael Pietrus, Ron Artest, or Kobe Bryant.

Carmelo Anthony is the leading scorer this season and is one of the toughest players in the NBA to guard because of his size, quickness, and his deadly pull up jumper. He can seemingly score points at will and from any range. One of his weaknesses used to be his drive to the basket but he has improved on that during the offseason and it has made him an unstoppable offensive force.

Kobe Bryant is a player who can torch the best defensive players. It isn't fun going into a game knowing that you have to guard Kobe. Kobe can shoot from any range, can drive to the basket and dunk on big men, and he has an amazing ability to will  the basketball into the basket to keep his team from losing. He is also feared because of his lock-down defensive abilities. Kobe has the total package including defense,clutch,3 point range, and basketball IQ. When guarding him, you have to have excellent help defense because one on one he will destroy anyone guarding him, and that's including, Shane Battier, Ron Artest, and even LeBron James.
