any flashbacks yet? yes? i am sure you are not alone. so a bit like last season. undeserved losses due to poor finishing or maybe this time it was deserved. so the story goes, arsenal are down to forth, 11 points behind table toppers Chelsea. however in my opinion if certain things are done than arsenal are still in with a chance.

one of these things is having a successful transfer window, after the exit of adebayor it looked fine just with van persie there but now that he is gone another striker is needed unless Eduardo can step_ up by January and start showing us what he is made of, however remember that rvp took a few weeks to fit into the new role, so unless Eduardo or bentder step up or if wenger can give walcott the chance to take the main striker's role, we MUST buy in Jan. there are a few possible options.

LUCA TONI, Bayern Munich
The Italian has been unused for long times this season and is likely going to request a move, hes got a lot of experience but not too old. he is quiet good in the air at 6 ft 5", he will add scoring opportunities for set- pieces and can defend them as well. bringing in a striker will also add competition to the current lot which should bring out the best in them.

another big figure that might just be suited for the premier league, a lot of speculation about him in pre-season but nothing happened. he too would be good for set-peices and at 25, he is not a kid, what we are used to seeing from wenger.

i would say that with the likes of aguero being linked with chelsea, and wenger's stinginess, no massive-figure player like aguero is going to come. unless however wenger opens the money pouch and choose to spend.

goalkeeper. well again almunia is not really that solid, maybe the goals on this particular situation were not his fault but generally he's hopeless, i really do think the opportunity should be given to mannone as he has shown great signs of a good goal keeper.

i really do think that these are the only positions that offer concern, oh and also i don't see the great partnership between gallas and vermaelen as i have said all season, please leave a comment behind. that's it from me
