Tell Me Again What FIFA Stands For?

One point i would like to make before i continue is the fact that i am a devoted fan of the England national team,i always have & i always will be.

After watching the hi lites of the France v Ireland world cup qualifier i could not help but wonder what FIFA actually stands for.

I imagine many fans of Ireland must feel totally "GUTTED"!! after seeing the hand ball by Thierry Henry which ultimately led to Irelands exit from qualifying for the 2010 world cup.

As an England fan i do sympathize with the fans of Ireland,after all,England had to deal with a blatant hand ball back in 1986 which as England fans know eliminated England from any further world cup competition.

I wonder if the officials from these 2 controversial matches have a health care plan? it does seem obvious that the officials definately have not looked into the vision care that is generally offered as part of a health care plan.

I did quite enjoy reading the article where Zidane referred to the hand ball as "a mistake"seems to me that France have made other "mistakes" in world cup competition...i do recall Zidane having muscle spasms in his neck which caused him to head butt in the chest an Italian player..he was rightly sent off for his actions.

I think that if Maradona & Henry want to get involved in a sport where the use of handling a ball is allowed then why not sign up for your respective countries volleyball teams..just imagine the exposure the volleyball teams would get!!

Should FIFA have had the France v Ireland match replayed?..i think i would say yes but that is just my opinion..it just seems to me that back in 1986,FIFA seemed to rename itself AIFA (Argentina international football association)..in 2009, FIFA seems to have changed its name again..FIFA (France international football association)...I wonder what name they will choose in 2010??
