PLEASE DON'T GO! PLEASE DON'T GO!

Sure it may be warmer, sure it may be financially smarter, but for the love of God...PLEASE STAY IN MINNESOTA!  This week it has went from a distant vision to an actual possibility for the Vikings to leave the Land of 10,000 lakes and go west to LA.  With only 2 years left in the metrodome, we as die hard Viking fans can only do one thing.  Pray and trust the management of the Vikings to do what they know is right in the eyes of us fans.  Sure if the Vikings moved to LA i would still cheer for them, but it just wouldn't be the same.

Viking season ticket holders know I mean when i say it wouldn't be the same. Minnesotans and other fans from nearing states wouldn't be able to just quit there jobs and move to LA. We would all be forced to stay with our current lives and purchase a little thing called the NFL ticket or NFL field pass from our cable companies if we don't already have it. I am currently of the age of 19 and have been a Vikings fan since 1997, so since I was 7 years old. I might be bias when I say this but haven't us Viking Fans been though enough over the years.  We really would not deserve this; to see our team move across the country.

Everyone remembers the more recent hardships the fans have had from the let down year of 1998 when the perfect Gary Anderson missed the most important kick of his life. Or how about in 2000 when we got humiliated in the NFC Championship game against the Giants. Even 2003 when our season ended with us missing the play offs with a last second pass against the Cardinals. Yet since 1997 we have sold out every game. It is very apparent that we Viking fans are as die hard as they get in the NFL. We are in now way any less of fans then Packer fans or Bears fans.

This team for many fans is more then a just a team and something to watch on Sunday's.  It is a family and a privilege to watch them every Sunday. No matter who the Vikings play or how important the game is we watch.  If we are getting beat by a large margin like 2007 @ GB; we still watch to the end.  Die hard fans for the Vikings are very real.  I speak for myself and for every other Viking fan around the Minnesota area.  Please don't break apart our family and leave us. Stay at Minnesota where the fans at home games are still among the loudest in the NFL to date.  Please stay here where the spirits of the original Purple Pride reign. Please stay where this franchise was built and has grown. Please stay for the die hard fans of the "Minnesota Vikings."
