Dear Iowa fans,

I would like to say thank you for believing. I've watched many a football games and I know that it's hard to believe when there is no reason to.

Trust me, as a Buckeye fan, I know how hard it is to have faith when no one else does. I watched an Ohio State vs. Iowa game that I didn't expect.

Well not really. As I trolled all of the Iowa fan sites this week laughing at the Iowa posters that had hope.

I rolled my eyes as I watched the Big Ten Network's Anthony Herron still have hope that Iowa would have a chance in The Shoe .

I mean, honestly how could you have faith in this team. how could you have faith that a team that barely wins games would win one against the conference juggernaut. But I forgot the most important thing about football. The games aren't played in our minds.

In our minds, it is not fathomable for Iowa to come into Ohio State and play hard, but they did.

In our minds, there was no way that Ohio State could beat a dominant team like Miami... but they did. In our minds there was no way Iowa was going to win time and time again, but they did.

I know this loss hurts because I know how I felt though out the whole game. I was not comfortable from the first minute to the last. Iowa football gave their hearts out all season and I have nothing but respect for them.

I am a die hard Buckeye and I am honored to have been humbled in this game. I have a new found respect for James Vandenburg and a newfound respect for Iowa football.

In a few weeks when the bowl games come around I will circle the Iowa Hawkeyes bowl game and I will watch.

I will root harder than most of you because I believe in Iowa football. You guys are good for the Big Ten and I am looking forward to playing for the title next year in Iowa. Go Hawks!!!!
