This Saturday, a good game will take place in the Big 12 when Texas Tech and Oklahoma St. square off. The Cowboys are hoping to to avenge a terrible loss at the hands of the Red Raiders from last year, when they lost by over 30 points in what was supposed to be an even contest.

At the time the Red Raiders were ranked No. 2 overall and the Cowboys were No. 8. This year, the roles have been reversed as the Cowboys are ranked No. 17 and the Red Raiders are unranked. If you are looking for Free College Football Picks what should we expect out of this contest?

The Red Raiders had to overcome the loss of quarterback Graham Harrell and wide receiver Michael Crabtree. Crabtree went on to the NFL after a very productive two years at Texas Tech. While the spread offense is still moving along, it hasn’t been quite the same for them as it was with those two.

They come into this game with a 6-3 record and looking to prove that they can still compete with the big boys of the conference. They have had a bit of a problem finding their quarterback this season as three different players have played. They still aren’t sure who will start in this game.

The big story for Oklahoma State is still Dez Bryant. Their future NFL wide receiver was ruled ineligible for the remainder of the season recently. He has since decided to bolt for the NFL which leaves the Cowboys without one of the most talented receivers in college football.

While they are missing a vital piece, it doesn’t seem to have affected them much. Even without running back Kendall Hunter, they have been plugging along with the help of running back Keith Toston. He ran for over 200 yards and three touchdowns last week. This should be an entertaining game to watch.
