Phoenix Suns' Flame Put Out

It seems the Suns streak has finally been put out by the Los Angeles Lakers by 19 points after a great run after recovering from the 100-122 loss to Orlando Magic and give the East's best team so far their first loss with an astonishing 110-103 win for the Phoenix Suns.The Suns are currently on an 8-2 which places them at the second place in the West despite being second in the Pacific division.

The new and improved Phoenix team has really surprised many people with their outstanding fast paced performance this season. They were able to get so much done in the training camp, give the young guys a workout and practice a lot on the fast pace, run and gun system. It was also a lot of the guy's first training camp with the Suns which they got to get some chemistry going between the team.

The three point shooting for the Suns has been magnificent so far, with four of the Sun's starters shooting over their career three point percentage and three of the four are shooting at 50%. The Suns are proving themselves to be one of the best three point shooting teams in the league and becoming a team every team will have to fear when they are left open because as far as depth goes, the Suns have many three point shooters who will get the shot when they are open half of the time.

Not only have they been playing well offensively but they have been great defensively as well, they have forced turnovers against other teams and gotten many fast break oppurtunities so far. If they can keep this hustle defense up then the Suns might actually prove themselves to be an average defensive team compared to previous years when people stated the Suns as one of the worst defensive teams in the league.

The Suns bench has come out strong with Dudley averaging a little over 9 PPG, Slovenian guard, Goran Dragic playing better than ever and showcasing his talent and potential. One day, Dragic could be just like Nash. Amundson has been great and has continued his high energetic hustle performance.

If the Suns can keep up this amazing performance then the Suns might actually get a chance to put themselves in the playoffs and maybe even proceed to the second round or better yet, further.
