Tigers Must Not Overlook The Wolfpack

Well here we sit two games away from the end of ACC play, and two wins from heading to Tampa, but there is one thing we must remember, we still have to win our games, this season is far from over.

This team has come very far; it is truly a new team. This is shown by the drastic change in their play from before the bye week, until now. This team seems to hold all the intangibles to finish, unlike the teams in the past. I feel that it all starts with the coaching.

I don’t think that Dabo will allow this team to become comfortable, I feel like he is the type of person who will push a team no matter what. After the FSU game he has plenty to work with, the poor kicking game has to be the number one issue. If we cannot make extra points how can we expect to win close games?

Looking to this week’s game I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared about the match up. In the ACC you can throw stats out the window, and all expectations seem to fall. The team cannot think that they have the Championship game in the bag just because they beat FSU.

This is a good trap game, but if the Tigers can win, and BC loses then the tigers clinch the ACCCG. I guess I am just stuck in the "Bowden era mindset" but I am just waiting for that key loss. That thought lingers in the back of my mind, but I feel Dabo is a stronger coach than Bowden was, and he will have the team ready to play.

I have been waiting for this team to finally finish a season, and I feel that this one has the intangibles to get it done. Just because I feel they can do it doesn’t mean I'm not afraid of what could happen.
