I like Joe Cox, but sometimes he makes it hard. I am not talking about my reaction to his poor play on the field. I am referring to his clumsy media skills.

I understand he is a young man and dealing with a lot of negativity living in the spotlight shown upon the starting quarterback at Georgia, but geez. After the Oklahoma State game he informed us our criticism didn’t matter to him. Now he talks about deserving a strong finish. I may be the only person in the world bothered by this, but I don’t like our quarterback talking about “deserving” anything.

I believe the movie was “Unforgiven”, the line “deserve’s got nothing to do with it.”

“We want to finish up strong for us, because we’ve worked hard enough to deserve that,” quarterback Joe Cox said before practice Sunday.
