For James Buescher, the 2010 NASCAR season will be a busy one, as he's going to run full-time in the Nationwide Series with James Finch's Phoenix Racing and also run 19 races for Turner Motorsports, LLC in the Truck Series.
Buescher for Phoenix Racing will be in the No. 1 Miccosukee Resorts and Gaming Chevrolet and with Turner he's in the No. 31 Wolfpack Rentals Chevrolet.
He started racing at a young age and has achieved success in every level he's competed in.
Buescher is the youngest winner in ARCA Re/Max history, as a 17 year old in 2007, he won his very first race at USA International Speedway.
In 2008, he got his first taste of NASCAR competing in six Nationwide races, picking up a career best seventh, a pole at Memphis Motorsports Park and ran some ARCA races.
Buescher in 2009, drives the No. 10 Maxx Force International Diesel Ford for Circle Bar Racing, run some good races and sits third in the ROTY standings.
Now I do feel if the team had to get their Ford engines from another source than Jack Roush, this Kid along with mentor Rick Crawford would be having a better season.
He's also run four ARCA races this season, collecting two wins and three top-fives.
Buescher is a 19-year-old kid that's loaded with talent. It's exciting news that he'll be running both series, next season, and let him put all the pieces together look out.
"I would like to thank James Finch, Marc Reno, and Miccosukee from Phoenix Racing and Steve and Sandra Turner from Turner Motorsports for giving me the opportunity to have as much seat-time as possible next year," Buescher said.
He's excited about his busy plans in 2010, feels running in both the Nationwide and Trucks will help further along his career and make him a better driver.
"The Nationwide Series needs more drivers likes James, because these young talents need to have a chance to develop before moving to the next level," Finch said.
"Furthermore, we are looking forward to working with Turner Motorsports next season."
I like the combination of Buescher and Phoenix Racing, no doubt they'll find success together, love the pairing with crew chief Marc Reno, and glad he'll still be running some truck races.
I feel Buescher is just as good or better than Logano, can't wait to see them racing against each other as competitors and glad he's in a Chevrolet.
Buescher will be making his debut with Phoenix Racing in the No. 1 Miccosukee Resorts Chevrolet today at Texas on his home track.
