The ultimate test for our point guards is Tony Parker. The guy kills us. Last year, in four games against Portland he had almost 24 points and eight assists per game. Portland had absolutely no answer for him with Steve Blake and Sergio Rodriguez. Andre Miller has fared well against the Spurs offensively; let's hope he can get hot. Either way, Parker wins. George Hill, his backup, is a good young player and certainly doesn't hurt San Antonio.

Despite early struggles against the Spurs, Brandon Roy was very good against them in '08-'09. Michael Finley has lost a step but his ability to hit jumpers is still there. Manu Ginobili is a big x-factor here. If he plays an active game he'll disrupt Portland's game plan. Regardless, I like our chances in this game. Rudy will spread it out and hit some threes.

On Saturday, the Spurs' newest addition finally had a good scoring game. Richard Jefferson is a perfect fit to an already established unit. His ability to create his own shot brings a new dimension to the Spurs. Then you've got Roger Mason who plays big minutes and hits a lot of three-pointers. I think Martell Webster and Travis Outlaw are capable of doing good things, but they won't win this matchup.

Just looking at the Spurs power forward duo makes me cringe. A healthy Tim Duncan and DeJuan Blair?

Tough.

I barely need to say anything. I think we could have used a backup like Blair, but instead we let another Western Conference foe scoop him up. I don't think LaMarcus Aldridge can handle all this beef inside.

Matt Bonner is funny: silly shooting technique, a positive attitude. It's crazy. I think this is a good opportunity for Greg Oden to flex his muscles. He won't get any extra foul calls because Bonner gets no love. But Greg should manage a double-double and Joel Przybilla will do what he always does: frustrate everyone he touches. Blazers win this part of the battle, but ultimately, they'll lose the war.
