NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 04: Manager Joe Girardi #27 of the New York Yankees celebrate after their 7-3 win against the Philadelphia Phillies in Game Six of the 2009 MLB World Series at Yankee Stadium on November 4, 2009 in the Bronx borough of New York City. This picture disturbs me.

Why, you may ask?

Well, if C.C. Sabathia, A.J. Burnett, Mark Teixeira, and Nick Swisher had not come to the Bronx...

THIS PICTURE WOULD NOT EXIST!!!!!

Why is everybody crediting the coach for the team's success?

Let's take a flashback.

2008 NBA Finals

Doc Rivers, just a year before, had coached the Celtics to a 24-58 record, a winning percentage of .293!

But now, Doc gets all the credit, because he has just led his team to a championship.

Without Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and some really clutch bench playing Celtics fans dream to get back on top would have been...a dream.

The Lakers took a brutal beating and the Celtics won their 17th title.

Back to the present-day.

The year before, Joe Girardi's Yanks didn't even make the playoffs.

Now, they have their 27th championship.

If you are a Yankee fan, not only do I hate you, but you shouldn't be praising Joe Girardi, you should be praising: George Steinbrenner, Brian CASHman, A-Rod, C.C. Sabathia, Mark Teixeira, Phil Hughes, Joba Chamberlain, Andy Pettitte, A.J. Burnett, and Nick Swisher for your team's success.

Not Joe Girardi.

No, not at all.
