This Saturday night, the nation—and most importantly Heisman voters—will get another chance to evaluate one of the hottest players in the country, C.J. Spiller.

The Clemson Tigers will be playing the Florida St. Seminoles in prime time, and it will be televised nationwide by ESPN.

Spiller has been one man wrecking machine for the Tigers in 2009, and the chatter for including Spiller as a top Heisman candidate has begun.

The Seminoles haven't been the juggernaut of years past, but they still have prestige, which carries with viewers on the tube.  That's great for Spiller, as the more people who get to see his ridiculous speed (recently clocked at 28 mph by ESPN on a kickoff return against Miami) and unbelievable moves the better.

This game also carries with it something that Spiller covets even more than the Heisman—a chance to play in the ACC Championship.

The Tigers control their own destiny, and a victory over Florida St. will get them one step closer to Jacksonville.

They will need Spiller to perform like he has all year to have a chance.

As Deion Sanders always says, "Big-time players make big-time plays in big-time games".

I expect Spiller to live up to being a big-time player.  The rest will take care of itself.
