The Arsenal cannons roasted the cocks across town. And after a good night's meal, the team gets ready to continue their European sojourn. It was a satisfying victory against the Spurs and taking into account our home form and Alkmaar's form in general we should be able to win this one.

Injury News

Bentner (Out)
Denilson (Out)
Fabianski (Out)
Rosicky (Doubtful)
Walcott (Returns to training but will be short for this game)

AZ Alkmaar News

They are just terribly out of form at the moment and cannot defend for their lives. Although El Hamadoui is in terrific form for them, still they are struggling to win games. Add to that their away form has been terrible. They do not have any injuries to report. They will look to play on the counter but assuming Koeman's tactics they might just sit back.

Predictions

The mistakes we made against them in the last match should not be repeated. We should look to start the game at a high tempo and quick movement and look to score some early goals and finish the game off in the first half itself. If we play as we did against Spurs or the way we have generally been playing at home, we should have little problems. I would go for a 2-0 victory.

Possible Team Gunners

It has been a good week talking about the squad depth but its a fact that we are getting too reliant on Gallas, Vermaelen and Song. We know Song would be out for the ACN and Gallas has this record of one injury a season playing for Arsenal. We need to keep the defensive trio fresh and resting them one at a time won't be the worst thing to do.

Its high time that Senderos is given a game. Nasri should be back. Putting Merida on the left side of the front 3 is an option we should start using more often. Eboue could start at right back.
