Looking at my picks for last week , I went 4-2 SU and 4-2 ATS. I hit Duke winning as underdogs to UVA and the GT cover of SEC opponent Vanderbilt, but missed out on the Central Michigan's upset of BC badly.

Georgia Tech leads the charge for the ACC once again, but who is on the Jackets' heels right now? Virginia Tech looked like they were still sulking their loss from a week ago in going down to North Carolina in a rare home loss on Thursday.

Miami came from 13 points down to beat Wake in Winston Salem and keep their ACC title hopes alive. Meanwhile, the Duke Blue Devils beat Virginia and with just one ACC loss still control their destiny in the Coastal Division.

Things We Learned Over the Weekend

When Georgia Tech’s offense gets going, it is nearly impossible to stop and there is no blueprint for it.

Virginia Tech this season is just an average ACC team when they are not focused.

Miami’s maturity was the difference against Wake. The Hurricanes lose that game a year ago.

You cannot blame FSU’s offense for their woes this season.

Duke can play with anyone in the ACC and will be a tough out for their four remaining opponents.

Top Story lines For Week 9

Georgia Tech tries to keep rolling against Wake Forest a team who has played GT’s offense three times in 13 months going 1-2 against Navy.

Virginia Tech has the dreaded back-to-back Thursday game on the road at East Carolina. With BCS hopes gone, how do the Hokies respond to an out-of-conference game?

Clemson hosts FSU in an Atlantic showdown with BC as a very interested observer.

Duke travels to North Carolina looking for just their second Victory Bell win in 20 years.

Maryland and NC State play for the Atlantic cellar. The Wolfpack are the only winless team in ACC play.
