Is it just me, or do Sunday games just have a weird feeling to them? Something about it, just isn't right. This game was no exception. There was an awkward vibe to the game. No extreme emotion was shown on either side, even coming down the home stretch. The Celtics had a fairly comfortable grip on the game throughout. There was never a real sense that they were going to lose the game- it was just not the same dominant fashion they had won their first 3.

I can't say they looked horrible, though, because they didnt. It is a very good thing when we can look at a 97-87 victory against a worthy opponent as the "worst we have played". Tonights game, was one of the ways the Celtics can get beat. When the team we are playing shoots very well from 3 pt range, we can get outscored. From what I have seen, our help defense doesn't defend the arc as well as it denies the lane. Sometimes there isn't a way to defend that. Peja Stojakovic was the prime example in this game of a guy who couldn't miss. He showed his precision with 26 points on 6-10 shooting from behind the arc.

As for the Celtics, Paul Pierce had another great game. He finished with 27 pts on 10-14 shooting. Pierce hasn't slowed down so far this season, and lets hope he doesn't.

Overall, the C's hampered down when they needed to, and found a way to pull out the W. The team is 4-0 and will be going into Phili Tuesday night. Lets just say if we get out of there with a win, the rest of the week looks pretty favorable to the starters getting some rest.
