John Cena is currently a seven-time WWE champion and basically a figure head (even if most people in the WWE universe disagree with it) of Raw and WWE in general.

Many people have asked me, will John Cena ever become heel?

In my eyes, we have a better chance of getting Bret Hart to join WWE again then John Cena ever becoming heel.

Every little kid, every woman in her 20’s, 30’s, even forties, married or not, loves John Cena. You cannot look in the audience without finding some little kid with a sign, poster, or clothing that doesn’t say, “Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect” on it. Or see a child with a John Cena wrist or head band.

No matter where WWE takes place, there are always John Cena fans. Every time Cena takes off his shirt, women scream as if people had died.

To sum up, no matter who likes it or not, Cena connects with the fans, on another level that most wrestlers cannot.

Earlier, I was speaking about clothing of Cena’s. This is another important factor in keeping him face and not turning him heel. John Cena merchandise and advertising is huge!

Cena makes millions for the WWE in just a few days. His caps, shirts, wrist and head bands, CD’s, DVD’s, Movies, etc, make WWE money. This may take a drop if WWE ever considered turning him heel.

It has been noted by top WWE wrestlers such as Triple H, Cena himself, and of course our WWE universe audience that Cena cannot wrestle.

Many people who do say this are like me, Wrestling Traditionalists’ who prefer the old “WWF” wrestling era, with the likes of: The Rock, Stone Cold “Steve” Austin, Triple H, HBK, Ric Flair, and of course Hulk Hogan, just to name a few.

However, we must understand that with time, change must happen, it is inevitable. John Cena is a part of this change (No matter how much I hate to say it).

Even though he cannot wrestle, the connection this man has with the fans is unbelievable, which is why he is always WWE champion and why he will stay face.

Speaking of Hogan, another reason, WWE keeps Cena face is because they want to create another Hulk Hogan. Besides the face and hair, the structures of both men are incredibly similar.

Hogan was mostly always the champion in WWE, just like Cena is now. Hogan was the old figure head, now Cena takes his place. This is another reason why Cena will stay face for now.

I believe that John Cena will stay face for a very, VERY long time. Cena contributes way too much to WWE for him to go heel. Awhile back I got some information, about Vince getting upset with an employee who suggested turning Cena heel.

I was told that the employee was verbally abused by Vince, and was told privately to, “Think before you speak in this business.”

What a horrible thing to say, right? Well even so, Vince was right in this equation. Cena does way too much for the company to turn him heel now.

We would need to have another huge face on WWE to take Cena’s place, for it to even be in the realm of possibility for Cena to turn heel.

Basically put, John Cena will not turn heel, in the next two years, possibly neither the next five years either.

Would I like to see a Cena heel turn? "Hell Yeah!" as Stone Cold would say. I think it would be interesting to see how the fans reacted, how Cena would play the role, and a bunch of other things.

It would be interesting to see him in the heel light, but that’s more of a wish rather then an upcoming event.

I wish Cena didn’t have that much air-time, so that many of the young talent could get a spot in the lime-light.

However, that will not happen, champion or not, Cena will always be in that spotlight because no matter how much I hate saying it, or how much you hate reading it, John Cena will be a face and the figure head of WWE for years to come.
