Kofi Kingston is undoubtedly an up-and-coming WWE star. Randy Orton has already proved and showed that he has the wrestling ability and the charisma to be a future Hall of Fame member. However, do these two wrestlers have what it takes to have a feud? Will there wrestling styles compliment each other? Will the fans even like it? This reporter says, yes they will.

Kingston has proved to me and to many fans in the WWE universe that he can bring the “heat” when wrestling. His current performance on WWE Raw was amazing. He continues to amaze me. There isn’t anyone in the WWE with the same style of wrestling as him. Kingston is just someone you want to see. From his finisher, “Trouble in Paradise”, to his high-flying antics, even to his entrance, he is always pleasing the fans. However, up until this past Monday, I thought he was being used wrong. His run with the U.S title belt, was great, it also pushed other young talent, such as: The Miz, Jack Swagger, etc. Now that he doesn’t carry that belt, I assumed he would go to under-card matches again.

Randy Orton, 5-time former WWE champion and a great heel on Raw, currently with his group Legacy, have been controlling Raw. The back and forth with Orton and current WWE champion, John Cena, was beginning to bore the hell out of me. They had matches that were alright, they were not as bad as Khali and Cena matches that is for certain but, they were just OK. Randy Orton is already an established wrestler in WWE at this point. I presume as many others do, that in due time he will again rule WWE as the WWE champion. However, on Monday, I expected to see him do something to get a WWE title shot as many of us did.

When Orton attacked Kingston Monday night I was shocked. I had thought that would be more of a job for Legacy. Perhaps a Cody Rhodes attack on Kingston, but not Orton. Later that night, more was to happen. Kofi Kingston cut a promo on Orton while standing on top of his NASCAR that Legacy had purchased him early that night. I loved the promo he cut on Orton, I felt Orton sold that promo perfectly, like he usually does. I didn’t expect Kingston to be as good with it as he was. Of course he needs a bit of work with promos, no one can cut the 1st perfect promo, but Kingston was damn close.

As a WWE fan, I love this move by WWE. I feel this could end up giving Kingston that push and main event light he deserves. As for how these two competitors’ wrestling styles will compliment each others, I believe it will be an awesome combination for success. These two have been in the ring before, and of course it was indeed great. However, that was a little while ago, and both have grown as competitors. Fans need not worry, it just means we are in for an even better match with these two.

If WWE does this correctly, we can see the true potential of Kofi Kingston; we can see him finally in the main event light, and of course, we can see a great match which is what every fan wants. WWE has a chance to create gold right now with this feud. To create another star in Kofi Kingston is just a brilliant idea. With TNA acquiring Hulk Hogan, who knows what could happen in professional wrestling now. The best thing WWE can do is create new stars and push them right. With this very feud, it could be the start of a beautiful rivalry between Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton and the creation of another main event star in, Kofi Kingston.
