Minnesota State Soccer Tournament Underway

The 2009 Minnesota High School soccer tournament get underway today.  Quarterfinals will be played at a neutral site.  Winners will advance to the semifinals, to be played at the Metrodome in Minneapolis.

Oct. 29: #4 Elk River vs Northfield, 5:30 PM

Oct. 29: #1 Apple Valley vs Blaine, 7:30 PM

at Cottage Grove

Oct. 30: #3 Bloomington Jefferson vs Wayzata, 5:30 PM

Oct. 30: #2 Woodbury vs Champlin Park, 7:30 PM

-Semifinals on November 2 at Metrodome, 4 PM/6 PM

-Championship on November 5 at Metrodome, 5:30 PM

Class A

at Hopkins

Oct. 28: #4 St. Cloud Cathedral vs Mahtomedi, 5:30 PM

Oct. 28: #1 Totino-Grace vs St. Louis Park, 7:30 PM

at Roseville

Oct. 30: #3 Hermantown vs Mankato West, 5:30 PM

Oct. 30: #2 Simley vs Austin, 7:30 PM

-Semifinals on Nov. 2 at Metrodome, noon/2 PM

-Championship on Nov. 5 at Metrodome, 2:30 PM
