The 2009 campaign has been one to remember for the members of the Lady Mavs volleyball team. Heading into the final week of regular season play the Lady Mavs have a overall record of 18-8 and a 5-2 conference record. The 18 wins is a program best, topping the mark set by the 2001 squad who had 16. The Lady Mavs are coming off of a 2-2 week in which they participated in the Continental Classic hosted by Hamilton College.

Coming into this week the Lady Mavs will not only host their final regular season game of the year on Tuesday, but will also honor the two seniors on their 2009 squad. Holley McAllister, Rochester, NY and Michele Burgstahler, Wilson, NY. Both have played a big role on this year's squad by helping to lead a young Lady Mavs team that includes 9 freshmen to the program's best 18 win mark.

Entering the final week of play McAllister leads the Lady Mavs in Digs with 444 which also puts her in third place on the All-Time Digs list with 1,131. McAllister also ranks third on the Service Aces list with 137.

For the 2009 season Burgstahler has 95 Kills, which puts her fifth on the All-Time list with 525, 24 Service Aces, which puts her in a tie for seventh All-Time with 91, and 294 Total Attempts on the season, which puts her in fifth place on the All-Time list with 1,761.

Freshman Middle Hitter, Meghan Fahy, Kendall, NY has been a nice addition to the Lady Mavs roster. Fahy leads the Lady Mavs in Kills with 204, Service Aces with 41, and ranks second on the team in Total Blocks with 51. Fahy attended Wilson High School.

Senior Night will get begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Sullivan Athletic Center located on the Medaille College Campus against the Penn State-Behrend Lady Lions(17-8, 7-2).
