
Report: Cavaliers' Rodney Hood Won't Be Disciplined for Refusing to Enter Game
Rodney Hood will reportedly not face any discipline from the Cleveland Cavaliers after refusing to enter their Game 4 win over the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Monday.
Per Tom Withers of the Associated Press, the Cavs won't fine or suspend Hood for his actions.
The Athletic's Jason Lloyd reported after Cleveland's 128-93 victory that Hood refused to enter the game in the fourth quarter, "angering a number of teammates and those within the organization."

Per Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, Cavs general manager Koby Altman and members of the front office met with Hood, who "expressed remorse" for the situation.
Hood has struggled so far this postseason. He has only reached double figures in scoring once, in Game 6 against the Indiana Pacers, and averaged just 11.5 minutes in the previous four games before Monday.
Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue used rookie Cedi Osman for 20 minutes off the bench in Game 4 after he played less than 13 minutes combined in the previous 10 playoff games.
The Cavaliers acquired Hood from the Utah Jazz at the trade deadline as part of their midseason roster makeover. The 25-year-old averaged 10.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 21 games after the deal.
Cleveland will await the winner of the Philadelphia 76ers-Boston Celtics series in the Eastern Conference Finals.
