Bobby Lashley spent the last several years dominating Impact Wrestling, but his return to WWE Raw has created many interesting feud possibilities for a Superstar who has grown exponentially in the ring and as a character.

With the ability to take on the role of heel or face, whoever Lashley squares off against in the coming weeks depends on whether WWE Creative keeps him as a good guy who garners big reactions or flips the script and creates the next monster bad guy.

Here are the best possible matchups for Lashley heading into the summer.

Best Possible Lashley Feud

Lashley is billed as one of the most dominant forces in all of wrestling, but he was forced to tag with Braun Strowman on Monday, another Superstar with a similar gimmick. The stage has been set for possible tension.

Lashley shined in Impact Wrestling as a heel, and Raw needs a true monster with the departure of Samoa Joe and the lack of Brock Lesnar. What better way to cement his return to WWE than by attacking a fan favorite such as The Monster Among Men?

The subsequent battles between Strowman and Lashley would be legendary.

Strowman garners major reactions from the fans, but he needs to be working against a Superstar who can build heat against him. While the WWE Universe is behind Lashley right now, attacking The Monster and turning his back on the fans could help create a top heel who gets legitimate heat.

Add in the sheer brutality that will come to fruition in the ring when these two behemoths come head-to-head, and Lashley vs. Strowman could be one of the best feuds of the year if given the time to develop.

Most Likely Lashley Feud

With a bona fide star such as Lashley returning to WWE, the company will likely be looking to play it safe and put him against one of the top heels on the Raw brand. The perfect answer in the mind of WWE Creative could be Jinder Mahal.

Mahal may not be liked by many hardcore fans, but he is one of the most hated heels in the company and always generates genuine heat. Lashley will need a marquee victory during his pay-per-view return, and beating a former WWE champion would be a smart first step.

Lashley vs. Mahal will not be the flashiest of return feuds for Lashley, but the WWE Universe hasn't seen him for years, and many new fans need to get acclimated to the destruction he can impose.

Once Lashley disposes of Mahal, then it's on to bigger and better competition.
