WWE NXT Results: Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights from April 11
On the heels of an explosive, critically acclaimed TakeOver: New Orleans special, NXT hit the WWE Network airwaves with two matches featuring stars who did not appear on that broadcast.
First, Lacey Evans continued her quest to introduce a nastier side of herself to the brand as she battled 2017 Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane in singles competition.
On the tag team front, Heavy Machinery looked to get back to winning ways, as Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight battled the team of Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli.

Which Superstars would emerge from Wednesday's broadcast ready to leave their mark on a brand reeling from several main roster call-ups? Find out with this recap of the April 11 show.

Kairi Sane vs. Lacey Evans
The Pirate Princess entered the arena to a thunderous ovation, the first Superstar through the curtain on Wednesday evening. Her opponent, Evans, showed renewed attitude as she strutted to the ring, seeking a quality win over the celebrated Sane.
Evans seized control, using her size, strength and ferocity to wear down her smaller, dynamic opponent. She worked the core of Sane, making it difficult for her to breathe.
Sane fired off a series of chops but ate a shoulder breaker that nearly ended her night in disappointment.
A big spear by Sane gave her the opportunity to fight her way back into the match. An Axe Kick, a flipping neckbreaker and her corner elbow gave way to a flying forearm from the top rope that earned her a two-count.
Sane slid out of Evans' grasp, delivered a big back fist and executed her In-Sane Elbow to secure the victory.
Winner: Kairi Sane
Grade: B
Analysis: Evans is a performer whose work is much better and more effective when she is in the role of heel as opposed to smiley babyface.
She's naturally taller and stronger than many of her co-workers, so it is more believable she would ground-and-pound them, making them fight from underneath. That formula worked here, and the result was a better match.
Sane feels like a lost soul in NXT. She has been de-emphasized since winning the Mae Young Classic, and unless she is first in line to challenge Shayna Baszler for the Women's Championship, expect more of the same.
Heavy Machinery vs. Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss
Heavy Machinery, Sabbatelli and Moss have done battle countless times in recent months, with their tag team rivalry seemingly never-ending.
The heels isolated Tucker Knight and beat him down, keeping him away from his explosive big-man partner.
Otis Dozovic exploded into the match, taking the fight to both Sabbatelli and Moss. The onslaught by the babyfaces came to an end on a double-clothesline spot that left all four Superstars prone in the center of the ring.
Suddenly, War Raiders debuted, and the crowd erupted as Raymond Rowe and Hanson made their way to the ring.
They introduced the four Superstars to the pain and punishment they can come to expect in the weeks and months to come. They then stood tall to close out the broadcast, with their message sent loudly and clearly.
Winner: No-contest
Grade: B
Analysis: Do we really need to see Heavy Machinery wrestle Sabbatelli and Moss again? That match is a bit played out, and unfortunately it is because neither team has much else going on.
With that said, the debut of War Raiders spared fans another uneventful outcome between the two. Rowe and Hanson should be the faces of the tag team division for the next year. They're bruisers, a potentially unstoppable force that should have no problem dethroning The Undisputed Era if they can thwart outside interference.
Veterans of the independents, and with more athleticism and agility than someone of their size would usually possess, they made an effective statement on their first night with the brand.
