WWE Announces Superstar Shake-Up Next Week on Raw and SmackDown

In the words of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, it's time to shake things up again.

WWE announced Monday night on Raw it will reshuffle the roster. The event will begin on the April 16 edition of Raw and continue into the April 17 edition of SmackDown Live:

It will be the second year in a row WWE has had a Superstar Shake-up after WrestleMania. The event is a way to freshen up the Raw and SmackDown Live rosters while maintaining the two-brand structure for the company's weekly programs.

The timing is perfect because a calendar year has allowed enough time to largely exhaust the biggest potential feuds on Raw and SmackDown, especially when it comes to the women's and tag team divisions. Now, new stars will have the opportunity to interact with one another.
