Ronda Rousey Thanks Kurt Angle in Instagram Post After WWE Debut at WrestleMania

Ronda Rousey offered a heartfelt thank you to tag team partner Kurt Angle after they defeated Stephanie McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania 34 in what was Rousey's WWE in-ring debut. 

Rousey directed an Instagram post to Angle Monday, calling him "the best partner and teammate I could ever have for my @wwe debut."

Many fans were curious as to whether Rousey could successfully transition from mixed martial arts to professional wrestling. Triple H said in January that Rousey would begin training at the WWE Performance Center, and WWE showed Rousey and Angle working out prior to Sunday's match:

All of that work paid off, as Rousey helped deliver one of the best matches on a massive WrestleMania card.

Rousey and Angle picked up the victory after Rousey forced McMahon to tap out in the armbar.
