PHILADELPHIA - OCTOBER 21: Fans of the Philadelphia Phillies hold up signs which call for the Phillies to play against the New York Yankees in the World Series after the Phillies advanced to the series with their 10-4 against the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game Five of the NLCS during the 2009 MLB Playoffs at Citizens Bank Park on October 21, 2009 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."

It only cost Gramps six bucks and fifty cents to see his wondrous Whiz Kids get whipped by Joe D, Berra, Billy and the Boys back in 1950.

But if your planning on rolling Gramps out on his steel wheels to catch the Phils this year be prepared to dig deep into the old man's dwindling social security fueled bank account or hit your fading 401 K hard.

It takes jack, and not cracker jack Bubba, to buy Phillies playoff tickets this time.

It doesn't cost peanuts, pal.

So unless ya can grab a quick loan from a bailed out bank Bub ya better go see Sal, Uncle Pete's shady pal, in South Philly to set ya up with some Philly fever fast bucks.

It takes a bunch of Ben's buddy to catch the fever but Ben Franklin was, after all, a Philly fan.

"Phillies tickets are in demand. For the World Series, the market value of Phillies tickets are averaging $1,650.

If you would know the value of money, go try to borrow some; for he that goes a-borrowing goes a-sorrowing.
