Yes Jimmie Johnson is not hurting NASCAR. What did Rick Hendrick hire Johnson to do? Win races and championships right? Johnson is just doing his job and doing it better than anybody else right now.

I do understand how Johnson's winning everything the last three years his pushed some away from NASCAR. But is it Johnson and the 48 team's fault no can run with them when it counts most? Is it up to the 48 team to share there set ups with all the teams that show up to the track? Or is the job of the 48 team to beat all the teams that show up to the track? I am pretty sure if I ask Rick Hendrick he would tell me that there job is to beat the other teams and he would fire Knaus if he gave everyone in the garage there set ups.

So if Johnson and Co. are just doing there jobs could what is really hurting the racing be the fact that the other teams just cant seem to find what it takes to beat the 48 team? I know its easier just to blame Johnson than everyone else. But fact of the mater is, its not up to the 48 team to wait on everyone else to catch up. It is there job to catch up and beat him.

I remember not so long ago that it was the "Wonder Kid" winning everything under the sun. And before him was "The Intimidator" and DW and before them was "The King".

Johnson dominating is nothing new. Yes a fouth straight cup title should Johnson win this year will be new. As for dominating not new. While watching the Hall of Fame annoucment I heard more than once at one time during Richard Pettys haydays the talk wasnt about who would win, but about who would be second.

In a no time we will again be going down this same road complaining about some new kid maybe Logano, or his team mate Bush, winning all the races and championships. Will it be there fault? No, just as its not the fault of any of the others who have dominated the sport before them.
