Dwyane Wade Promises Heat Tickets to Fan Who Attended Cavs vs. Thunder Game

The Cleveland Cavaliers dealt guard Dwyane Wade to the Miami Heat hours before Thursday's NBA trade deadline.

One fan was bummed about that transaction Tuesday evening.

Twitter user Nick Houston, a "lifelong" fan of the three-time NBA champion, per his social media bio, purchased tickets for Tuesday's game between the Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena before the trade.

Though Wade was in Toronto on Tuesday, Houston still attended the contest Cleveland won 120-112, and he brought a sign with the following message: "Bought my ticket in November, drove 455 miles to see D-Wade play...Heat ticket?"

Wade noticed, and he responded:

Remember, kids: You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take.
