Went to the Superdome for this Matchup and couldnt believe the game. Drew Brees came out and just did almost anything he wanted. If that was the Number 1 Defense this should be a REAL Season to Remeber. I know its only the 5th win of the season but they are definately on a mission.

Talking to some other Saints Fans in the Superdome was a Blast. Of course they are all talking about the Superbowl and it is hard to ground them saying it is only week 6 in the NFL. However they did bring up some good talking points about the team.

  1. Reggie Bush quality player or most expensive Decoy in the game ?

I personally think he is a much better receiver than a RB but he needs to work on running north and south not always going east and west positive yards are sometimes better than the homerun. He is a very explosive player and I would hate to face him in a wildcat type of offense. I hope the Saints can keep him unless a trade comes along we can't pass up.

   2. Drew Brees is the real deal !

Well the stats don't lie but it is only five games in for New Orleans but based on his last two seasons he seems to come to play. Remember though the games against Bills and the Jets they held him totally in check. If it wasnt for the Defense and Special Teams plays the Saints probably wouldn't have won those 2 games.

   3. What team would be able to match up to the Saints ?

Well this was a head scratcher and there are quite a few matchups we talked about Miami and the wildcat, New England and their Offense, Dallas when they come to play. Well the Fans said the game they where most worried about was the Atlanta Falcons because they always seem to know how to play the Saints when they are on top and vice versa for the Saints. They have to play them twice still so it should be interesting if Ryan can hold his own. If Brees gets on a roll in those games may be a long game for them. Heck coule be a long game for any team if he is on a roll.

   4. Who is the best Saints QB of all time ?

This was interesting the fans that saw Archie Manning play had a harder time choosing that the ones that didnt.  Drew Brees was still chosen to be the best QB of all time for the Saints even though Archie did get the MVP for the NFL. He is the only player to hold that honor while having a losing season.

   5. Will the Saints get the Lombardi ?

Well like it says previously it is a long season and there is ALOT of football still to play. If the Saints can keep teams on their heels should be a good season. But have to keep in mind you may see some of the teams you rolled over in the season in the post season.

With Seven different players scoring against the New York Giants I think the Saints do have a legitimate chance at the post season. Fans have to remember the Patriots it really doesnt matter about your season wins once you hit the post season.

Keep spreading the ball around though it will always keep defenses guessing.
