Chiefs' Marcus Peters Throws Flag into Stands vs. Jets
Zac WassinkDec 3, 2017
Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters had no time for an official's flag late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
With 2:15 remaining in the contest, the Jets received a second chance for a two-point conversion after cornerback Steven Nelson was flagged for holding.
Peters evidently didn't agree with the call, as he responded by tossing the flag into the stands:
Somewhat remarkably, Peters wasn't ejected for his action, per CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. He did, however, walk off the field with a team escort.
