Washington Huskies wide receiver Dante Pettis made history on Saturday night when he took a punt to the house in the second quarter against the Oregon Ducks.ย
The 64-yard score put the 12th-ranked Huskiesย up 10-3. Itย also marked the ninth punt return touchdown of Pettis' career, breaking the NCAA record previously held by Texas Tech's Wes Welker and Oklahoma's Antonio Perkins.ย
It's been a big week for the Pettis family. On Wednesday, Dante's father, Gary, won the 2017 World Series as the Houston Astros' third base coach.ย
