I'm kind of sad that I will never hear that ridiculous theme song that Shane McMahon had ever again.  There is always the possibility that Shane will come back for occasional one-off appearances but for now, its a sad day for the WWE.

While Shane has not been visible the past few years other than in short bursts to take on DX or Legacy, he has still always been known as the son of the boss.

Now that Linda has left to pursue a Senate seat, Shane is gone, and Vince is nearing the age of retirement, the landscape of the WWE could be very different five years from now.

What would become of the WWE if Vince retired and handed the keys to the castle to Princess Stephanie?  While Stephanie has done a good job in her position with the creative team, she has yet to really take the reins and run with them.  I don't know is she has the experience to run an international entertainment company.

Who would take the spot of the tyrant we have heard about that is Vince Mcmahon.  his backstage reputation is that of a man with a short fuse and a temper.

Could Stephanie impose that kind of fear and respect, or would someone from outside the McMahon family finally be running the WWE day-to-day scene?

One thing is for sure, No one wants to see Stephanie's husband, HHH, in charge of things.  He is a wrestler, not a promoter.

While The Game's time in the business and personal relationship to the McMahon family may have given him some insight as to how the company is run, he still doesnt have the business experience.

Now, all I've been seeing on the various wrestling site lately is, Will RVD go to TNA?  Its been noted that he will be in attendance for Bound For Glory, but that doesnt mean anything.

He actually competed in the Royal Rumble and he still isnt back with WWE.  While I would love to see RVD in TNA i just think we need to let it happen instead of speculating about it.

It seems that as of late whenever the on-line wrestling community gets wind of something, it takes off like a rocket only to come crashing back down in the ocean.

If RVD returns I will be watching for sure, but until I hear that a deal was signed, I'm not getting my hopes up.  I can't take another dissapointment like Matt betraying Jeff instead of it being Christian.
