If Earnhardt Jr Never Win's Another Race, He'll Still Have His Fan's!

Frustrated, you bet he is. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. has the BEST race cars in the business right now, but he can't run with his teammates, Jimmy, Jeff and Mark.

If you look at Jr's accomplishments, they came before Nascar introduced the Car of Tomorrow. For whatever reason, Earnhardt has not been able to win in this type car.

Sure he won a fuel mileage race at Michigan last year, but between His mistakes and the Team's mistakes, there hasn't been a lot for JR Nation to cheer about.

But I have come to the conclusion that his fan base is as STRONG as ever!

In fact, I think he has MORE support form his fan's while in his slump, than when he was WINNING races.

I say this because Jr is the total opposite from his father, the late Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He has a heart and a persona about him that everyone loves.

Well, maybe not everyone. Like all race drivers, you can be loved or hated and right now, it's his teammate, Jimmy Johnson that is hearing the boos from fans because of his current domination of the Sprint Cup Series.

I will never forget when Sr came on to the Nascar scene. He made a LOT of mistakes and wrecked a LOT of race cars and his fellow competitor's.

His aggressiveness and desire to win overcame any thoughts of JUST racing. He had to WIN. It took a long time for Sr to win the fan's over and his tragic loss at Daytona will always be remember throughout the racing world.

Sr built D.E.I. in 1999 with plans to eventually retire and become an owner in the sport he really loved. He died trying to protect his own drivers.

As for Jr, he won TWO Busch titles and that is enough for me to know that he CAN drive a race car.

Things didn't go as Sr had planned for D.E.I. The writing was on the wall with Teresa Earnhardt at the helm of D.E.I.. There was NO love lost between Teresa and Jr, so the KID of Earnhardt, Sr left and joined the super strong Hendrick Motor Sports.

Rick Hendrick had built an empire! After losing his son Ricky, along with his older brother and two nieces along with key employees from HMS in a tragic plane crash, both Hendrick and Jr meshed as ONE.

We all know how everyone put the blame on Tony Eury, Jr as he left D.E.I. to join his cousin at HMS. Things didn't go well for the pair and Rick was forced to split them up.

The Earnhardt's and Eury's are FAMILY and this move had to hurt both Jr's.

But, even after the changes, Jr. has not found victory lane and is becoming more and more frustrated.

Sure, he is the sports most loved driver and his souvenir sales remain at the top of the chart, but what amazes me is that his fan base remains as strong or even stronger because of who Jr is and what he stands for!

Jr is the total opposite from his late father. He races others clean and doesn't feel like he Has to Win Every Race!

But, he hasn't won in over a year and this has him really agitated.

He has made mistakes while driving, his crew has made mistakes in the pits that have put him back in the pack which will eventually catch him up in a crash.

But though all of this streak of crashes, blown motor's and mistakes, one thing hasn't changed.
