Saturday, Clemson will have their third ACC game of the season against Wake Forest. Wake Forest is currently No. 1 in the ACC conference and look pretty confident coming into Saturday's game.  But can the Tigers put on the offensive and add another check in their win column?

Wake Forest has had one road game before this, against Boston College and lost. Maybe the Demon Deacons don't play so well away from home, so home field advantage could work in our favor.  Last year, the Deacons came to Clemson and won but the overall record between the two teams points in our favor.  The Tigers are 56-17-1 when facing the Deacons.

As the game gets closer you can tell the students are getting more pumped up.  I have already seen out-of-towners around the downtown area who have come in for the game.

One man told me that he has been a Tiger fan for years and that when you least expect it and people start to doubt the team is when they come back full swing to surprise you.  He seems to think this could be our comeback game.

I also asked some students if they thought this game could be a win for Clemson. Candace Mullis, a junior said, "Clemson football is like a rollercoaster ride.  It has its ups and downs every season, but at the end it is still fun.  I think as students we are always hopeful that the game will go our way, but I'm just not sure about this game.  I know it is a vital one for both teams so it will be really interesting to see which way it goes."

Candace makes a great point here that I think almost every student will agree with. This game is going to be a turning point in the season for us.  If we lose I think team morale may go down and fans may start to turn against Dabo, but then if we win, we could really reinvent the team for the remainder of the season and finish out strong.
