It can't be that hard can it? Managing to qualify for the 2010 World Cup Finals was a breeze for Fabio and the boys, now all he has to do is win the thing, 239 days and counting. So, with all the talent at his disposal who should make the flight to South Africa?

Only selecting from the previous squads Capello has gathered and assuming that all are playing to the best of their ability and are 100% fit, who would you have in your final 23? Here is mine, enjoy.

Goalkeepers:

Robert Green - West Ham Utd

David James - Portsmouth

Ben Foster - Manchester Utd

Defenders:

Right Backs:

Glenn Johnson - Liverpool

Owen Hargreaves- Manchester Utd (multiple positions)

Left Backs:

Ashley Cole - Chelsea

Wayne Bridge - Manchester City

Centre Backs:

Rio Ferdinand - Manchester Utd

John Terry - Chelsea

Phil Jagielka - Everton (multiple positions)

Matthew Upson - West Ham Utd

Midfielders:

Steven Gerrard - Liverpool

Frank Lampard - Chelsea

Gareth Barry - Manchester Utd

Aaron Lennon - Tottenham Hotspur

Joe Cole - Chelsea

Michael Carrick - Manchester Utd

Theo Walcott - Arsenal

Shaun Wright-Philips - Manchester City

Strikers:

Wayne Rooney - Manchester Utd

Peter Crouch - Tottenham Hotspur

Jermaine Defoe - Tottenham Hotspur

Carlton Cole - Aston Villa

My first choice XI would be:

Green

Hargreaves  Ferdinand   Terry  A. Cole

Walcott    Lampard     Barry     J. Cole

                   Gerrard

   Rooney

I reckon that little lot would push the Spaniards, Brazilians or anyone else for the Jules Rimet trophy.

Any thoughts?
